Brighten Your Feed: Explore the Iconic Seven Magic Mountains in Vegas
Las Vegas is known for its various activities, including gambling, shows, celebrity restaurants, and more. For some people, the glitz and glam of The Strip isn’t exactly what they were looking for. Surprisingly, there are some surprises away from the bustling Las Vegas Strip.
So, if you’re in search of a unique and captivating weekend activity that promises an Instagrammable moment, the Seven Magic Mountains is your destination. This large-scale public art installation, with its seven towers of colorful, stacked boulders over thirty feet high, is a sight to behold.
Produced by the Nevada Museum of Art and Art Production Fund, it was initially supposed to only be available for two years. But as you can see, Las Vegas bloggers like myself view it as a must-see in Las Vegas, and tourists and locals can find their way to this fantastic art installation. To get there, you can take a short drive from the Las Vegas Strip, heading south on Interstate 15, and then following the signs to the Seven Magic Mountains.
For me, the Seven Magic Mountains is more than just an Instagram-worthy spot. It’s a place I love to visit when my family comes to town. My first time heading out was in 2018, my first year living in Las Vegas. We spent at least an hour just snapping photos of each other near every stack of boulders. My favorite was the pink, silver, blue, and yellow stack, as it was the most eye-catching when I was taking photos. If you couldn’t tell, I took many pictures near this tower.
Overall, the Seven Magic Mountains provide an excellent backdrop for fun photos to mark your trip to Las Vegas.
